Week 4 XC Training

Week 4 is the start of the end of the cycle! That means that this weeks training is going to be the longest and toughest week of training yet. The goal is to run between 30-35 miles total this week with a long run of 6-8 miles. Remember you are pushing yourself, if your longest run is 4 miles, this is the week to run 5 miles. Always try to improve and grow!

Starting on Tuesday I will be in San Marcos for some team runs! Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday I will be at Rio Vista by the little league fields and on Thursday I will be at the old TxState golf course across from Travis Elementary. This is a great opportunity for you to come run with your team and have some company on your runs! I will be there each day from 730-930 for work outs and swimming in the river.

This weeks training:
Monday: LSDR- 6-8 miles easy pace.
Tuesday: Tempe- 20-30 hard/race pace. RIO VISTA
Wednesday: 4-6 miles easy. RIO VISTA
Thursday: 2 mile warm up, 8-12 x100m hill repeats. 2 miles cool down- REALLY HARD RUNNING UP HILL OLD GOLF COURSE
