Rattler Swimmers Don’t Take Breaks

With a district swim meet on January 28 fast approaching, these Rattler swimmers stay hungry for greatness and decide to keep working hard during their winter break to stay in tip top shape. San Marcos Welcomes Water Polo

Boys and Girls water polo teams are competing in water polo for the first time in school history.  Their first game is scheduled for April 21st against Anderson High School at the UT natatorium.

Swim Takes 3rd in Gilkerson Classic

The swim team finished third overall at The ‘Coach Skip’ Gilkerson Sprint Classic swim meet.  Swimmers took home multiple lifetime best swims and by unanimous vote won the Most Spirited team award.  Captains were recognized for their outstanding leadership this year:  Ivan Smith, Hannah McComb, and Erica Sadler.

This Saturday’s swim meet has been renamed permanently to The ‘Coach Skip’ Gilkerson Holiday Sprint Classic Swim Meet. The meet will be held at the small pool at Texas State.
