The first Runnin Rattler parent meeting will be held tomorrow August 9th at 6 pm at San Marcos High School. Summer XC Training:

The 2017 Runnin’ Rattler Xc Season is getting ready to start! Workouts will be held weekly Monday – Friday until the start of school on August 28th. The first race of the season will be the 2017 edition of the Runnin’ Rattler Invite and will be held on Saturday, August 26th at the former Texas

Week 4 XC Training

Week 4 is the start of the end of the cycle! That means that this weeks training is going to be the longest and toughest week of training yet. The goal is to run between 30-35 miles total this week with a long run of 6-8 miles. Remember you are pushing yourself, if your longest

Hardest and Longest week of Training so far! Increase your weekly mileage by about 4-5 miles and keep trying to push the pace! Every third week is a great week to push yourself and try to get better and stronger. Stay consistent in your training and running each week. Something is always better then nothing.

Summer XC Week 2 Training

Week two of summer is upon us! Keep the training going and keep it easy! This week incorporate one day with some hills into your running! I recommend doing this on Thursday. Find a good hill that is between 100 meters and 200 meters long. Get a good easy 2 mile warm up in, then
