Goodnight Track Competes In District Meet

NFL Character Building Initiative

Our athletic program is built on one concept, build positive character in our athletes and our teams will prosper which in turn will make for a positive school and community culture.  The state of Texas has recognized our efforts.  Our athletic director, Mark Soto, was invited to a NFL sponsored Character Building Initiative on Tuesday February 16th.

Track Practice

All Girls wanting to participate in Track and Field this year, need to have a physical on file with Doc Perez, as practice begins Tuesday January 19th. Practices will begin at 4:15 at the Track.

Miles Advances to State in Long Jump

Rattler Track Moves on to Area

The Rattlers came out on flying in the District meet this week. Nick Hicks threw a personal best at the Discuss with a throw of 136′ and a shot next week at Rutledge Stadium in the Area Finals. Owen McGlothlin will move on to run the 1600m and 3200m run in Area Finals as well.

Thunderbird Relays

The Rattlers showed up and showed out in the Thunderbird Relays at Rutledge Stadium this week. The boys hard work paid off Thursday night has they improved there times across the board.
