Runnin Rattlers spotted in Corpus

The Varsity Men’s and Women’s team traveled to Corpus this past weekend to compete in the Islander Splash cross country invitational, hosted by Texas A & M Corpus Christi. The men’s team placed 7th overall, while the Women placed 11th out od over 25 teams. Runner of the week for the men was junior Abraham

J.V. – Runner of the Week

Sophomore Raelee Reyes has improved steadily throughout the season and it paid off for her as she placed 22nd overall and covered the 3 mile course in 26:35. She was awarded Runner of the Week.

J.V. – Runner of the Week

Freshman Anthony Lopez has had a great start to cross country season. This past weekend he placed 16th overall and garnered Runner of the Week. he covered the 3 mile course in 19:41.

Varsity – Runner of the Week

Sophomore Tiffani Kane has improved by leaps and bounds this year, and this past weekend garnered Runner of the Week, by placing 35th overall and covering the 3 mile course in 23:40.

Varsity – Runner of the Week

This past weekend at the Bulldog Invitational, sophomore Esai Torres garnered Runner of the Week for his 13th place overall. he covered the 3 mile course in 18:02.

J.V. Girls Runner of the Week

In her first cross country of her career, junior Heaven Gonzales helped the J.V. team to a 6th place finish. Heaven covered the 3 mile course in 27:02, placing 56th overall out of over 200 runners.

J.V. Boys Runner of the Week

Running very well was junior Tommy Machado, who covered the 3 mile course in 21:25. A Personal Best for him

Varsity Girls Runner of the Week

Junior Jenna Gonzales had a good race as she jumped up one spot on the team, placing 41st overall. she covered the 3 mile course in 21:55.

Varsity Men’s Runner of the Week

Sophomore Carlos Hernandez ran well as he jumped up 2 spots to place 16th overall at the Pflugerville Invitational. He covered the 3 mile course in 16:50.

Pflugerville X.C. Invitational

It’s a Great Day 2 Be A Runnin’ Rattler, as the varsity boys team placed 3rd overall out of 17 teams, as well as the varsity Girls placing 6th overall. The J.V. girls team also placed 6th overall.
